ÜBER UNS

Gefunden in den ewigen Jagdgründen der österreichischen Musik-Szene wurde die Hardrock Band PAINTED DESERT aus der “Hölle” in Garsten bei Steyr im Jahr 2024 geboren.

PAINTED DESERT fungiert als Schmelztiegel der 80er bis zu den 2000er und erweitert die Konzepte mit rhythmischer Vielfältigkeit, melodischen Refrains, einem hervorstechenden Bass sowie ikonischen Riffs, um den alten und neuen MeisterInnen des Rock, Hardrock und Metals zu huldigen. Einflüsse wie Metallica, Rush aber auch Van Halen, Billy Talent oder Kyuss bilden ein vielfältiges energetisches Live Repertoire und lädt zu epischen Balladen sowie einer Headbang Party ein.

Die Reise startete im Frühjahr 2025 und fand ihren ersten Höhepunkt mit einem Gig beim kleinen, aber Geheimtipp verdächtigen Hoadrock-Festival. Weitere ruhmreiche Auftritte gab es beim Bandcontest bis ins Semifinale der Planet Festival Tour 25/26 und als Opener beim berühmten Noppen Air Festival im Frühjahr 2026. Die Band spielt regelmäßig in mittleren und kleinen Venues in Österreich und legt besonderen Wert auf das Einbinden der Fans in die Live Performance, um Momente und Erlebnisse bei der Zuhörerschaft zu verewigen. Kurz darauf im selben Jahr im März 2026 folgte die erste erfolgreich veröffentlichte Single “Glory To The Valkyries” und im Mai 2026 die erste EP “Flames ‘n’ Glory” und markierte für die Band den Start in eine neue Ära. Endlich kann sich die angestaute Energie der Gentlehuman Rockers Fränki (Vocals), Luke (Guitars), Steve (Bass) und Twister (Drums) voll und frei entfesselt auf die rockaffine Hörerschaft losgelassen werden. PAINTED DESERT sind “ready and made for the stage” und meinen selber dazu: “Hauptsache Rocken”.

Found in the eternal hunting grounds of the Austrian music scene, the hard rock band PAINTED DESERT was born in 2024 in “Hölle” (Hell) near Garsten/Steyr. PAINTED DESERT acts as a melting pot of the 80s to the 2000s. They expand these concepts with rhythmic diversity, melodic choruses, a prominent bassline, and iconic riffs to pay tribute to the old and new masters of Rock, Hard Rock, and Metal.

Influences ranging from Metallica and Rush to Van Halen, Billy Talent, and Kyuss form a diverse, energetic live repertoire that invites audiences to enjoy epic ballads and headbanging parties alike. The journey kicked off in the spring of 2025 and reached its first milestone with a gig at the small but insider-tip Hoadrock Festival. Further successful appearances followed, leading them into the semifinals of the Planet Festival Tour 25/26 band contest and earning them an opening slot at the famous Noppen Air Festival in the spring of 2026.

The band regularly plays in small and medium-sized venues across Austria, placing special emphasis on involving fans in the live performance to create lasting memories for the audience. Shortly after, in March 2026, they successfully released their debut single “Glory To The Valkyries,” followed by their first EP “Flames ‘n’ Glory” in May 2026, marking the beginning of a new era for the band.

Finally, the pent-up energy of the gentlehuman rockers Fränki (vocals), Luke (guitars), Steve (bass), and Twister (drums) can be fully and freely unleashed upon the rock-loving crowds. PAINTED DESERT are “ready and made for the stage,” or as they put it themselves: “As long as it rocks!”
